The rules and regulations for using the Policy Prism platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Policy Prism, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes in accordance with its intended research function.
- You must NOT upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassment, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or invasive of another's privacy.
- 1You retain all rights to the data you upload.
- 2You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
AI Analysis Tools: The services use Artificial Intelligence. Output is probabilistic and may contain errors. You should independently verify all critical information.
"As Is" Service: The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
**Limitation:** In no event shall Policy Prism be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.
4. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the provider is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
5. Export Control & Sanctions
You represent and warrant that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country to which the United States has embargoed goods (including, without limitation, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and the Crimea region of Ukraine), or on the U.S. Treasury Department's List of Specially Designated Nationals or the U.S. Commerce Department's Table of Deny Orders.
Usage of this platform in violation of U.S. export laws is strictly prohibited.
6. Service Termination & Data Export
Policy Prism reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the service (or any part thereof) with or without cause. In the event of a permanent platform shutdown, we will provide users with a minimum of 30 days advance notice via email and in-app notifications.
Data Export: During this 30-day notice period, it is your sole responsibility to utilize the platform's Data Export features to download your intellectual property (JSON, PDF, DOCX formats). Policy Prism is not liable for data loss once the servers are permanently deactivated.
Unused Credits: In the event of an involuntary permanent shutdown, any remaining, unexpired pre-paid credits will be automatically refunded to your original payment method via Stripe on a pro-rated basis upon the final sunset date.
